Received a text at COB Tuesday from Barra Beast re wagging work this morning for a sneaky peek over a few wrecks. Given the slack tides it was a no brainer.

Logged onto the work server before the yellow globe woke from its slumber and spammed the office with a few random emails to start the smoke and mirrors charade, surely my colleagues would confuse 6am budget reports with a dedicated employee

Come 10am we were in the water off Nightcliff boat ramp
10:15am the first coral trout was in the esky
11:30am the esky was graced with a number of coral trout and goldies

1pm back at the ramp and home to slip into some office threads
1:30pm at the desk, no one at work the wiser

Good times, good tides, good fish, good blokes. Happy days

Luv it. 5.30 at the ramp, 6am all pots in, 7.45 @ work, 9.30 got a meeting, 10am pull the pots and go home, 12.00 @ work with steamed crab lunch and no-one the wiser. Where did you get the crabs - Oh, last night after work.

10am roll out of bed
12midday have a counter lunch at the pub
2pm fish the harbour flats
8pm sh*t shower shave
10pm pester the wife til she gives in

10am wife storms into the bedroom after feeding the two kids and tells you to get your lazy ar$e out of bed
12 midday you roll into the kitchen looking for a feed and the wife gives you the marching orders so you sulk off to the pub
2pm have not built up the courage to go back home so slip away with the boat to try and do the hunter gather thing
8pm sheepishly sneak back home without any fish after failing again
10pm sneak into bed just like old mate in the cougar ads happy not to get caught

The arms and legs are skinny for good reason, concentrated growth in other areas
