I was told this is DGFC members only, let me know if it is open to all and I'll put it in the events calendar.

We convinced the committee to open it to all Matt. If you could put it on the calendar that'd be great, thanks!

We are getting plenty of interest in this guys. If you're new to billfishing come down to the Trailer Boat club and hear me talking poop about billfishing, tips, techniques and tactics for what to do.

Possibly not but individual time management of teams is not my issue. I have to collect all tags, used or not, calculate scores, issue prizes and clean up so I'm home before dark so the times will stand.

Dundee lodge will have breakfast and lunch packs available for teams who want them, they just need some notice by Friday lunch time. 5 confirmed teams entered and 7 others expected to join so far guys, jump on board!

Entries close this Tuesday night which doubles as the briefing night so we don't clash with the popular Trivia night. So drop me an email brucesaz@westnet.com.au and i'll send you out a form to complete. Briefing night is from 7pm at the Trailer Boat Club. 9 teams confirmed so far with possibly another 8 to come, maybe more so it's shaping up to be a great weekend and if the rumours of fish are true then we can expect some good numbers.

What better way to warm up for the Carton Comp than a pre-fish weekend with the chance to possibly win some great prizes too. $25 per adult, $10 per junior and all juniors receive a Catbo Custom 6 inch pusher just for coming along so they are already in front!

Hi Brad,

Saturday saw 16 fish tagged and Sunday saw 21 fish tagged mate. 37 all up ,champ team with 10 fish, runner up with 9 fish.
4 fish caught by juniors too.
The weather held out pretty good for us, it was comfortable in a 6m centre console out there with a cruisy 1 hour drive back to the ramp
