Just wondering if anyone has been for a look out wide of Darwin and if so were there any Tuna / Bait schools . Possibly this dry break in the weather might change things a bit out there and hopefully bring on some Billfish action. Might get time this weekend to head out to the gutters for a look or am I just going to waste time and fuel? Anyone caught Billfish this time of the year or do we need the cool weather first?

My hopes of getting out wide for a look didn't come together, Had to make do with a quick trip to the Mary with the lad this morning. Got a 74 at the mouth of McKinlays. Did any one else get out there for a troll? conditions looked real good. How did you go Doug, did you get out at Dundee? Thanks for the info. Matt re. tuna at Fentons, what do you think the chances are of Sails / Marlin at this time of the year? Deepblack.. got any ideas?

Massive tuna schools out at Dundee apparently around sail city. Where there is Mack tuna there will be billies.

Saw a small school of tuna in the harbour on Sunday.
Also saw a solitary tuna busting up near the bottlewasher.
