Well finally got time to sit down and do a quick post on March trip to lake Nasser, Egypt. Trip didnt sart well with Air Egypt managing to loose our bags that contained about 2K worth of tackle so for our whole 6 day safari we didnt have any of the lures we had bought especially for the trip!!!let alone toletries and clothes but aside from that it was an awesome trip. Due to the lack of lures and especially rubbers we were unlucky and didnt land a monster although pretty sure we lost one about 70 pounds or therebouts.
Weather was hot which we thought would help the fishing after a cold winter but unfortunaltey there was very little wind which is a negative on the lake as the water is so clear that a little wind does help with the fishing as it reduces the fishes ability to see the boat etc. Still we fished pretty hard as true territorians do and landed two dozen or so fish with average arond the 20 pounds . Highlight of the trip would be the tiger fish as they are great sport, only wish we had the barra gear or fly to tackle to use on them thanks Air Egypt!. Anyway here are a few pics, will submitt more detailed post and photos in the very near future.

Nice pics and fish. Pity about your bags...something like that can really spoil the trip...
