Down the highway past Acacia hills there is a turn off before Manton Creek. follow that to the end then park your car up and walk down the path to the wall. Below the wall there is a spillway and then a little barrage thing flowing down into manton creek. Occasionally in big rains some barra slip over the net at the top of the wall and get washed over. Plus you might have barra swimming up from Adelaide river. Worth a look! I havent caught anything there since I was a kid but I remember my old man catching heaps back then.

Mind you I have only been there when its not even flowing over. If you want a fishing buddy Ntpie let me know.

Just bring a solid stick for dem pesky cheeky crocs. If one cheeky bugger decides to give ya a go just whack him on the nose and he'll be on his way quick smart! ;)

Na it does look very "Croccy" in manton creek as your walking up. Wouldnt wanna be swimming there!

Na its not far. It'd be safe to take the kids, just make sure they dont jump the railings and go for a swim! Its all bitumen path up to the wall then it goes to a raised boardwalk with railings. Good spot.

Althought unsure of how much water is there at the moment. I remember one time to get to the wall you had to walk waist deep water over the path. But it should be alright now..

Was at the culvert on Tuesday, the water was about 200 meters across the road into manton, flowing too hard to fish. :P

Needed to be there as it was rising!!! 8)

Cheers Bullet

Was at manton last night and the missus got a 75cm barra at the wall, was pissin down rain so no pics, was very fat as well
so plenty of bait there. 8) Also seen a croc opposite the walkway as well.Seen 2 idiots wade across there last sundy. The path to wall is dry
now so is droppin pretty quick.Went to go to culvert but the gate is locked and fence fixed where everyone has been drivin around
the gate. Dont know why its locked the road is fine. The water at the wall is alive with bait talk about a needle in a haystack.

went to manton today for a look. had a hit from a fish 70-80 near the wall inside the dam .no other touches. lots of bait at the base of the wall trying to swim up it.
