Would you share your $10k fish with your deckie?
If so 50/50, 70/30, or what?
Be honest, anyone can say yes
Keep in mind it is fair to keep your $10k, or share it with a deckie, or give the proceeds to charity, or p..s it up against a wall.

50-50 arrangements made on my boat with mates. Have told my boy & his mates that they're not 18 so can't enter. The deal with them was 80-20. One told me he'd chuck it back in under that arrangement. No winning some times.

With mates I fish with on my boat the deal was 60/40..
I must stress that is the deal only with mates. Not blokes I just met and have never fished with before.

If my deckie was my wife then the split would probably be 0.5/99.5 ... Just enough for a carton of beer for me

If we feel like it, we set a 50/50 deal each time we go out and it only lasts for one trip. Depends if you're feeling like a communist or a capitalist on that particular day.

The "catcher" gets 50% and the other 50% would be split between anyone else in my boat. Only fair to share the wealth with your mates I reckon.

i always sort it out before fishing starts 50 50 ..although the other day when my brothers grandson came along it was decided that 45 45 10 was fair ...

On my boat the rule is that the cash is split up evenly amongst everyone.
50/50 and 3 ways if there's 3 on the boat.
Most of the time everyone is happy with the rule which is usually discussed on the way out.
