I've fished in Bali and if there were Barra anywhere the locals would have fished them out by now.

Saw 2 small barra caught off a rock groyne near the airport at bali, and if if youve ever snorkled around the rocks on the east side, candi dassar area, there are huge amounts of big eye trevally, bluefin trevs and GTs. Ihave taken photo, s of mack tuna amongst swimmers at the gili islands, everyone asumes indo has been fished out, but only small fish are fished out, they dont have the gear for gt, s etc.
