Terry Mills past Chief Minister resigned last night from the NT Government. Many fishos will say so what, bye bye. Terry is an honerable fellow served his electorate and the wider community well for near 15 years. An honerable man amongst a nest of vipers.

Love him or hate him? Im sure Millsy always thought he was acting in everyones best interests?
Politics is a tough game! We all critise them but not many of us would do any better.
At least now he can get that knife out of his back & get on with life...
Or He'll probably retire for a while then get given a ridiculous paying advising contract to do bugger all...?
All the power to ya.

Yep did a few good things and helped a bit, more than some pol lies do.
I'm sure we will hear more of him if he is doing any work with Indonesia as said in paper.

As Mud said, good luck and good fishing!

Terry Mills - a guy with a heart of gold, just trying to do too much, too quickly. A matter of fixing a HUGE previous Govt financial hole too quick without consulting the power of the people who voted him in. Unusual given he was a regular at public community meetings and listened to the people. Thought it was suss when he took on so many portfolios compared to the rest of his Ministers. Probably a justified lack of trust in his own Govt... Look what happened. I wish him all the best in whatever he does. :applause:
