Hello to all forum members.. My name is Warren & I live in Melbourne.
I have usually fished in the Goulbourne river for trout, redfin, yellas or around the bay for snapper, gar & flatties.
I've never fished for Barra before, BUT am heading up to Townsville today to catch up with my mate Roadtrain..
We'll be wetting a couple of lines while up there... :fishy: ( pictures of MY big ones to follow IF the crocks dont eat me... :croc: )

While your there, see if you can do something about those council workers who keep using the Victa on the arteficial lawns.

Welcome Warren,
Cungulla Dennis..Off the sandbar at the entrance..
You will get muddies with a big lump of bait on a ine and a cast net. Keep the kids occupied, while you chase the barra/salmon.
Plenty of yabbies if you have a pump.
