Wash yr mouth out with soap, Matt for suggesting that our uni education system is a sellout.
I'd suggest that there are a lot of aussie young people who are better than the indians at english language (to understand being taught a uni course via the use of the english language) and who match the indians in terms of academic achievement that deserve a place (but don't get one) to obtain quals needed in Australia.
Unis are playing the money game for profits and no longer serving Aus's academic needs.
Primary schools have taken on a social role and abandoned an educational role as well.
