Wentworth by-election

We can all probably predict what the party reactions are going to be to the coalition losing the seat of Wentworth yesterday. Point the finger at how badly others did.
The coalition got flogged as they should have. The overwhelming voter reaction was that the coalition had to go in Wentworth.
But where to transfer your votes to?
It wasn't the opposition labor party nor was it the greens. Greens down 5.9%; labor down 6.3% and the libs down a whopping 20.1%
They went to an independent and its my view that we're going to see a lot more of that in the next federal election.
The Aus electorate is fed up with the currently ineffectual party system and wants out.
May we live in challenging times.
