There's a lot of ex Gov. housing on the market being sold privately anywhere from 280k to 320k lately which will influence the stats. Don't worry though Matt, there still a lot for sale around the 700-800k (previous 800-900k) bracket and over and I reckon there's quite a few forclosures by the banks that are selling cheaper houses also.

i heard also that a lot of army and airforce personel are moving out of darwin and relocating back down south ,that might add to the amount of houses on the market overloading the sales .
