Like the owl's eyes?
Like looking in mirror after a night out.
It's not all eye-shine either is it, Dick. Animals which operate in low light conditions (some fish), crocodiles or at night (owls, cats, spiders) have special fluid in eyes that indicate that light actually passes through the eye twice to give enhanced low light vision.
Throw in a bit of flash red-eye and we end up with these wonderful colours.
Like looking in mirror after a night out.
