It is a bitter pill to swallow, everything in my old car says "made in Australia" on it.RIP Holden or more to the point RIP Aussie manufacturing!!

Yes, I had an EJ, my brother has had several old Holdens. Solid, made to last ... before everything turned Collins Class :D

EJ was a bit of tractor tho ...

My first car was a HJ ute. Towed the boat like a beauty and tough as nails on bad roads. 202 was nice and easy to work on also.

Working on them was great, could almost climb in with the engine. All I recall doing was cleaning the points every few weeks, and occasional oil/filter change.

Yeah i love my old bus, bought it 10 yrs ago and done bits and pieces, still runs th old grey 138. They just have character and i dont know anyone who has taken a ride in the EK that hasnt left with a huge grin on their dial.Ive replaced the hydramatic with a trimatic and added a brake booster but apart from that its pretty stock
