The thing that has me stumped is the ping from the beacon hasn’t been detected . I thought they were like an EPIRB but obviously not. The battery lasts for 30 days
Any pilots able to assist

Apparently the engines of the aircraft kept sending live data to Rolls Royce for some 5 hours after it disappeared from radar
and there is talk of relatives phoning mobile phones for some two hours after hearing it disappeared and them ringing out but no signal a couple of hours after that
All sounds a bit sus if true

Yes, and China sat on their satellite image for four days ... not much chance for injured survivors after four days

I fear that soon we will see it take off again for another 9/11 type experience. And I expect plenty of video of the passengers still onboard. And some country having to shoot it down. Its a very terrible state of affairs. I hope I'm wrong
