Hi there,

That is great!
I was not yet in Darwin when this "educational" brochure was made...
But I remember in my first few days in Darwin, stoping in front of a big pub with the words: Tits and Prawn or something like that written all over the front of it.
Being new, I was not sure that I fully understood what that was all about and was just staring at it and trying to make sense of it...
When some guys started to ask me What are you looking at from the top of the balustrade, and I quickly continued to walk towards the city...
:bonk:

Not long after, as I was waiting to cross a street, two girls in a car looked at me, laughed and flashed me their breast.
I went back home and told all that to my little darling and said that I started to like this place...
She didn't smile...
:bonk:

Have a good day,
Pecheur

What about the rodeo or mechanical bull at the old berrimah hotel...I am sure thats what stuffed my back..

The don was ok for a cold beer or two..

And the pickled parrot that was next to the green room rocked.. I spent far to many nights a bit under the influence dancing on the piano there... Some times in just glow in the dark boxers :-)

Geez I miss them old watering points.

AHHH The Don Hotel ....... Our first casino..and the Dolphin, worked there as a bouncer, never worked so hard or had so many fights in my life !! The local bro,s had their own bar out the back and when there was a band in the white bar they use to pour over the fence like blooby zooloos and we,d have to chuk em back over, the place was run by a bloke that looked like eaddy armin,he was a ex boxer, and nasty as cat,s p..s the cops turned up one night to take him away, as they were told it was him and the Govt was looking for him .old timers would remember that..
