Lowrance App problems

G'day everyone,
I just went out on the super lows we are experiencing here in NQ to mark out the channel through the sandbar of my local ramp using the lowrance app. The phone GPS was showing where I was via the app but when I would walk down to the edge of the channel and mark it in the app it wouldn't put the mark where I was....sometime even putting it back behind my initial mark in the opposite direction.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I've tried raising the problem through the app help but it doesn't even let me submit it
