Hi, can anyone identify what this is/used to be? Some sort of clip and where i think it came from

Roughly what size is it? :?
and what is the first pic off ? :o ha ha not sure what it is ?

is part of it broken away or you reckon that is almost original shape ?

Definitely a circlip of sorts. Designed to stop something sliding like a seal.

Note - read that again, as in an oil seal. :D

It's at the front on the leg, it's a rusted circlip that seems to have broken off. Just don't know what the part is that it is from. There's a square rod that runs between the sections and this is from the top of that gap.

Circlip off your shift gizmo between throttle and what looks like gearbox selector rod ??

Lookslike circlip from upper tilt cylinder pin
The pin has a habit of seizing & then bends the ram when you tilt the engine.
