My partner bought the 2014 Diesel Hilux 4x4 before the the funny front end and slanty dash come in has been a great car, compared to our friends 2014 Colorado which they have had problems very early its like they take it in with a computer error and just reset it without actually fixing the issue they've done this numerous times.

Have to say it this is Toyota country ANYTHING ELSE IS JUST PRETEND

I had a 2004 Triton which run like a dream , I done 4 trips to Sydney in it without having to touch a spanner .
Did the upgrade to the Amarok this year and so far no complaints , love it . Glad to see its not on the above list of issues :D

I have had Tritons not bad. The had turbo probs very exspensive. The one I have now has a five year warranty and I have had aircond evap and radio replaced and they blow through the rear diff blower It took stern letters to get warranty The clutches burn out easy if badly bogged

Mine is the 2.5 which had a bad batch of blocks at one period that were prone to leak water into head.

thankfully mine is not one of them so far a great car 2012 turbo diesel.
tows well god economy comfy to drive a little stiff but fine.

only fault so far is fuel tank to small i reckon.

other wise great value for money. 8)
