Look forward to it mate. I have the vain hope that it will be ready for paint by the end of the weekend but I think I'm up against it.

Doing the lower deck carpet with Matty tomorrow and I've figured out how to run the glue through an airless spray gun so at least that's going to go a bit quicker.

Cheers,

John.

Hi All,
Just a quick photo update the lower deck is now complete including a padded area directly behind the console to make standing up at the helm alot more comfortable. To be honest I wasn't going to do any padding on the lower deck but my mate Matt who came around to lend a hand talked me into it. Thanks mate. So that's one more job knocked over. A couple of the seams look big in the pics but will come good once it's all screwed down.
Cheers,
John.

P.S. I put the console in just for you Matt.

What sort of padding did you use? I usually stand and it can get hard on the feet

10mm eva tiles for the lower deck. The cast deck will be 20mm.

Hi All,
Another quick photo update, got a bit more of the gunnel welding for paint done today and sorted out the rear boarding steps, they're not welded in yet as I have to turn the boat to do it but this will give you an idea of how they turned out. I'm pretty happy with them.

They look Ok , just wondering if you have thought about putting a pond set up instead of just a step platform .
Just an Idea for a bit more flotation in the rear end ,,maybe ????

These do that, they flank the skeg and because they extend aft of it they also lift it up out of the hole and straight onto the plane which is handy in shallow water.
