Looking at upgrading my current boat to something larger in the 5-5.5M range. I have narrowed my boat selection down to a few manufacturers and am interested in the sea jay velocity hulls in 5.2 and 5.5M models.
If anyone has any feedback on these hulls it would be appreciated as I can only find reviews in magazines that would be know more than a paid advertisement.

Re: Sea Jay Velocity Feedback
I have the 5.5 sea jay velocity centre console. Great boat and rides nice in the chop. Have had it out when others have turned around and handled some bigger swell nicely. The beam on the boat is great as well and is very roomy. Sleeps 3 comfortably and would be able to sleep 4 no worries. I have a 135 Honda on mine and cruise at about 45kph to 50kph getting around 2.2km per ltr. WOT hits 64kph. Large front cast deck with esky storage under floor. Only down side is it does not have any sealed storage up front so gear can get wet. Very happy with the sea jay and is great for up the rivers or out in the blue water.
