Hey guys, I am new to this page and pretty computer illiterate so please excuse me if I have posted this in the wrong section. I am heading into Darwin in the next few days in our 2wd camper an towing my tinny. Can any one point me in the right direction as to were I can chase a few jack??? I just can't get enough of them and since cairns and surrounds I have been having withdrawals. Thanks in advance

Any of the arms of the harbour. Find a rockbar. They generally hold jacks and goldies.

The rock walls around East Arm port have some bigguns.

Top of Elizabeth River is very rocky and has a few but take a spare prop!

ive found some awsome rock bars up the back of elisabeth need to be there at the bottom of the tide to see how extensive they are. some go right the way across the creek on certain tides ive got a few sussed out now and i allways chatch a few jacks there on the right tides. i find jacks in the lizzy bite more round the bottom and first push in of the tide. springs are best.

I had a good session launching out at Six Pack Creek on the weekend.
At night at the top of the tide. 3 nice Jacks and 4 nice Goldies in about an hour. :catch:

Sounds like their around, I'll have to suss out those areas, I will only be using lures and I'll only be catching and releasing.

I like the look of dundee beach, I think I'll try around that area first as darwin seems to be pretty hectic at the moment with all the grey nomads and accommodation is tuff. Hopefully I can snag a few there because after 2 long weeks of seeing road kill and termite mounds I'm itching for a flick
