thumpers sullo , how you been catching them ?

Hi guys,most of the time we are trolling,but sat and sun they moved down to about 10m and just sat there,trolled over 1 good school of fish for half hour without a bite.pulled up on a heap of fish and dropped down a couple of slickrigs,chloe hooks a fish,i had a good strike but no hookup.Next drop same result,3rd drop chloe is on again and i miss my 3rd good strike,chloe drops her fish after a few seconds.
I said to chloe im getting the bites but cant get a solid hookup,she looks at me and says did ya take the plastic off ya hook?....yep i'm a d1ckhead


the last fish was trolled up,113cm,i'll try getting chloes pics of her ipod,but heres a sounder shot and head shot.

Try some of the quick catch lures same as a transam and thready buster but only $8.50 each come in 2 sizes larger one would be spot on for the big girls vertical jigging or slow rolling down deep

Or split ring and a stinger hook attached to the tow point. Cut main single hook off as it will fowl the stinger. Never miss them again. Looks like you are doin fine the way you are anyway.

got a pack of 150mm qwikcatch vibes,i'll give them a go on the weekend

sounds good,those singles are p..s weak,cant stop many fish in the timber.cheers

Have'nt had much luck in the boat,but getting a few under the light at the ramp with slickrigs.
