Chased off the beach

Family was chased off the beach this morning. Noisy local didn't want to share the fish with us.
So we went to the jetty and my daughter caught a cracker squid, which she made me release ... tears were near flowing from both of us, but for different reasons
Possibly the only catch-and-release squid in the history of fishing?
Was a bit cold, snow on the mountains. Nice day tho, sure beats the keyboard.

Know the feeling Matt, gave up squidding with the wife years ago.
Mmmm marinated in kiwi fruit overnight and a smoking hot griddle

30.06 running 220 grain hollow points sorts the seal problem out quick smart...
plenty of my trolled baits for granders off batemans bay have been demolished by these pr..ks.... cute as, but they're worse than powertails up north.

Down the southern end, about as far as the road goes. Yep, it's been a cold year, clearish skies make it colder.
