Chronic and I are heading back to my home town for xmas and are interested in doing a few charters while we're down there. We're staying around Pt Pirie area. I know that they do a few charters down Wallaroo way but just wondering if anyone had been on one in there travels.

Port Broughton is closer to you at Pt Pirie and has terrific Snapper fishing at that time of year. Quite popular though so you may need to book.

I have been out with a charter operator called Gary Barnes (he is also a professional crabber) there and we did very well although the gear they provided was a bit agricultural. Sadly I can't find his details to help you with.

There are a few other operators in the town though (Double Header charters is one I remember) and they have been around for a while so maybe okay too.

Cheers
Trig
