Dum in Mirrie got 562mm?

It says Dum in Mirrie got 562mm yesterday?

Seems crazy, but nearby Finniss/Geriatric Park got 195mm and Charles Point got 185mm.

Everyone is reporting it as fact. Seems odd to me.
Maybe a big arse wave ended up in the gauge haha.

That area seems to get some high readings. I don't trust old mate at geriatric park, alwsys seems to have the most rain

The gauge at Dun-in-Mirrie is an automatic tipping bucket style gauge that is calibrated and checked by BOM. No human interaction required and I highly doubt whether Maxwell would have gone out in that weather to manipulate the readings.
The guts of the low sat directly over the top of Dum-in-Mirrie for about six hours and the actual system was small enough to have minimal impact on other gauges.

For the three days of rain from the Low;

Dum-in-Mirrie - 622mm.
Wagait Beach - 545mm.
Charles Point - 229mm.
Geriatric Park - 269mm.
