It's utter bullsh!t.. Must be that "caring for country" we keep hearing about from the NLC and Aboriginal Corporations.. Where's the EPA to determine the environmental impact of these cars sitting there in water.. Worried about lead in the water from a mine but not worried about fuel, oil and rusting vehicles in one of the most pristine rivers in the Territory.

Time to invest in a higher crossing or bridge to make life safer for the locals out there.

I was out there Tuesday and it is an absolute disgrace, tourists are there to see pristine rivers and ecosystems and all they get is an underwater wrecking yard . There are 3 vehicles in the water with a 4th,a navara towed out the day before .the cruiser has been in the water since June last year ,so much for taking care of the land.

There are No NT Govt sponsored artificial reefs past the Berrimah Line.
