Late Nov-early dec trip

Post by COOPS »

Got a mate that's booked a trip up out of the blue for nov 30 for a week.

Massive tides. Down to .36 etc. Any suggestions on where to go?

Maybe channel point but tough time of year for the southerners to camp.

Was thinking wiligi but might be too risky. Other options are dundee or crab claw at this stage

Still chasing some advice for this trip. I normally don't fish on big tides so I'm not sure on where to go

For me it's definitely Dundee. Get yourself an a/c donger for good sleeping. Bluewater fishing should be good too. Also a good chance of barra along foreshore rocks. Plenty of cold beers and decent food

Lats is spot on, with the new ramp you can leave early or come back late. The tides aren't as bad if you go wide Troll around north Perons

I'm with Lats. Dundee is the only area fishable on those runs for bluewater, unless you are bouncing over the changes only.

Get a shack and be comfy.

Thanks for the suggestions. Was trying to steer clear of dundee as my visitors have been there a few times but it might be the best option. The feeds out there are good now too.
