Summary
ENSO Alert System Status: La Niña Watch
ENSO-Neutral conditions are present.*
Equatorial sea surface temperatures (SSTs) are near-to-below average across the central and eastern Pacific Ocean.
La Niña conditions are favored (~55%-65%) during the Northern Hemisphere fall and winter 2017-18.*

True, but can't see a monsoon forming soon. I guess I'm a bit of a glass half empty type when it comes to wet seasons these days. Happy to be proven wrong!

Just looked at the MSP Analysis charts for the next four days......... Monsoonal trough just north of Melville Island on Christmas Eve.
BRING IT ON!!!!!!
