24th Groote Eylandt Billfish Tournament

Held in the waters surrounding Groote Eylandt, the annual billfish tournament is a tag-and-release competition. Sailfish and small black marlin are the primary targets, as they congregate this time of the year. This team event has become Groote Eylandt Game and Sport Fishing Club’s signature event and is held in partnership with Escape Sportfishing Lodge.
