13 centimeters, at the moment it's the difference between agony or ecstasy for these two mighty contenders.
Unless Faulksy can pull off a minor miracle with a 130+ plus fish, then abduct the leaders then it's out of Moonman and CB.
13 centimeters is a handy lead, yet nowhere near enough to be safe. They've turned for home in the Cox Plate with 200 to go at Moonee Valley,Moonman holds by 2 lengths, but the bandit will be under the whip fevereshly in the final 200. Will Moonman give a Northerly like run, looking as if he's going to be pipped but just never gives up the lead, or will Bandit rattle home in the final furlong like Bonecrusher!!
I reckon CB may spend more hours out at Shoal Bay than in his bed this month, and when he's not out there he'll be down the mouth of the South, and when he's being forced to come home for the night,he'll sneak off and fish Leanyer drain for "just and hour or two"....and will return two days later.
As for Moonman, well I reckon he only has to fish and overflowing roof gutter at the moment to pull a big fish,he's on fire.
What will the monsoon do,will it throw an early cat amongst the pigeons, will Madden/Julian oscillation make an early visit, inundating the top end, or will that dispicable pre monsoon steamy heat persist.
There's a long way to go in this one yet,I feel a twist in the making.
I'm backing The Bandit to pull a 109 from the MOS and looking to have the comp as his, only to have Moonman take a 97 on NYE at 9.57pm stopping off in a taxi on the way to Disco just to have a final cast in Casino creek
Moonman $1.77
Corroborrebandit- $1.95
Faulksy-$501
