I am a very proud New South Welshman, and it makes me very sad to hear about Artie passing away.

He is a legend for helping create S.O.O...was a tremendous role model for aboriginal people (first indigenous captain of his country in any sport) and one of the best to ever play.

RIP big Artie.

What a loss to rugby league. A true legend from the days when the game was played by 13 men for 80 minutes. Tough as nails that lot.

We'll miss u Artie!
