JUst had an hour on the phone with Keith... the family are shatterd...

The police are still trying to work out what happened as there is nothing that stands out after the boat was retrieved from the bottom.

It all happened very very fast according to Keith who was on the deck at the time (the family were asleep in the cab) he said "it just seemed to dip a bit on one arft corner then it just rolled straight over and went down stern first"... quick enough to wash him up into the cab....

from there it was a battle to get everyone out of the cab as the boat was still sinking..... Keith got out a window and then set to work getting his family out.....He managed to get Tammy (his wife) out and young Emma (his oldest child) but Young Jack was not so lucky

They tried CPR when they got him out but to no avail.....with no epirp (it sank with the boat) they then spent a number of hours hanging onto a 75ltr tropical esky... 1 boat went past and didn't see them in the water....luckly the second boat to pass "just" spotted them after hearing the yelling....

Keith has asked me to pass on the details and the police report (when it is done) so that we might all learn what caused this horrific accident and hopefully avoid it...

He also asked me to pass on his and his familys thanks for the thoughts.

Punter I have been thinking the same thing...the least we can do is send some flowers to the family....the funeral is on Saturday.... :|

If anyone else wants to "chip in" let me know asap and I will get something happening ASAP.
