i see a fella had an unexpected swim in buffalo a couple of days ago ,had to swim back in 60 mtrs to ramp after leaving bungs out ,i think most of us have had a bung story over the years .mine is ,i was fishing a comp in a local dam where a group of us were always playing jokes on each other ,one morning in the dark readying my boat for comp i checked all the normals including bung but what i didnt know a fella had crepped around after that and thinking it was another boat from a fella who had same as me he took bungs out .on launching naturally boat sank while i was putting car in carpark.i lost two sounders ,battereies ,torches and so forth .was so pi... off that the fella was too guttless to admit it till years later .little to say i dont have contact with him anymore .

Years ago
Got a stessle edge tracker from Frenchies marine.
first boat those little stessles had four bungs.
But in at the army base at Larrakeyah ramp.
two bungs not done up took a little while to notice as had full floor in it :D
Turned on bilge while putting bung in.
no water coming out pump outlet ha ha ha ha :o :o
my mate had wired it up arse about and was sucking air. :banghead:
lucky it was above water line
left bungs out and took off and venturied most of the water out.

Couple of lessons learned there.

In the NT News ...

In that creek I'd be more worried about the bull sharks.

More risk of getting hepatitis in there than croc/shark attack...

Both good calls, beware the bacteria-loaded braid balls.
