You can also put ya mum or the missus down as the emergency contact and to provide info and upload a pic of your boat so they know what they're looking for. I also reckon they should be registered at the counter when bought.

I have the GPS model registered.Last year i was sitting at home and we were getting a big storm,the phone rings and when i answer it the guy says are you drowning in ya backyard?.He said only took a couple of minutes to pinpoint where it was.
The non gps model can be up to 5km ,i will sure feel a lot better with the gps if i'm ever clinging to my esky.

PS the little rubber boot on the toggle was perished

Once your on the web site you can also register the detail of a particular trip if are going to be a long way from home. I did the trip with PVB years ago when we went out to miss shoals and again on the first swing out to FTB.
