Anyone been to the Darwin fish shop that cooks up fish but no chips?

I was led to believe by the lady standing outside that this was a purist thing (not completely sure about that, twaz just the impression I got).

Then I went to the shop next door and bought fish with chips.

Not trying to belittle their ideals but I think their business plan will need hot chips to succeed.
