2 part post.
Part 1, bitch about kakadu.
Yellow waters boat ramp is closed! Phoned cooinda and they were not too sure why it’s closed, but informed me that it closed over 2 months ago.
I’m no expert on yellow waters, but this seems a like bs kakadu up to it again.

Part 2, heading to cooinda this seeking, and my boat really wants to come. Want to get the kids some flicking practice, but would be hopefully even if its just a few rats. Do you like my chances. Any insomnia would be appreciated.
Cheers

When you give somebody a little bit of power and they yield it. What gets me is the road is closed because it could be damaged by vechicles but its ok to drive busses down to take tourist's site viewing.
At a parks meeting the rangers thought it would be better if no one had access at all. That's why 2 mile and alligator lagoons barely open.

Yes, but didn’t end up taking the boat. It’s interest how some systems have got quite a bit of water as others seems to have missed out. Yellow waters is rightup, 1m over the walkway apparently. I didnt see it as the gate was locked, but what everyone told me. Easily accessible to and from home billabong.
Magellia (forgive the spelling) was 750 over the first crossing, apparently 900 over the second. It has been high for sometime.
Yet 2 weeks ago the wildman almost seemed at dry season levels. No colour change pumping out. The flow seemed almost all tidal.
Shady had good colour change pumping put (well considering the wet)
If we done getgood rains the Lilly’s will be over taking. 2 and 4 mile will be full of salvina.
Can only hope.
