Vernons and condor point run
Planning a run out to the vernons and over to condor point in the tiwis this sunday for an overnighter. First time doing a run over and look for a bit of advice with the tides and winds and how rough it can get out there. winds should be around 5-10kn with a tide run varying 4m and below anyone out there with some experience with these condition in the area that can throw a couple a pointers. Run a only one boat and dont want to stuff it up!!

I have been lucky enough to have done around 30 trips + over there and my advice is to always have a safe Anchorage for the night as winds can be very unpredictable there. So do your planning for a creek mouth with access at half tide and up

Try and time when you go over to make sure the Tide is going with the wind when you go across the open section between the Vernons and Tiwis,
Especially going from North Channel to Robinson creek, Its can stand up like Charles point with the wind against tide.

It is a fair way from Robison to condor if it's rough but it is on your port side. We have spent many nights at condor. It can be difficult because if you want to go someware at night for protection. I went at day time and sounded sml creeks north so at least I could go some where but you need 2.5 m of water to get into creeks.
