Wetlands cruise incident

Post by STANDY »

Was at Corroboree today and noticed the wetlands cruise boat on the other side of the billabong and fark out of nowhere another one comes screaming at me on the same side I was trolling close to the bank.

Stupidity haveing one tearing down each side of the billabong at once. Skipper wasn't even looking where he was going until the last minute. :banghead:

Might have to give Someone a call! Who would you let know about a incident on a billabong?

Composed myself well considering he was full of passengers ( didn't chase him down and give him a mouthful )

AMSA are toothless and incompetent !!!!!!!!!

Glad you survived the incident mate . Very scary when a bigger boat is tracking straight for you .
Hope you got some pics , I'd contact the Water Police .

Harbour Master won't want to know about it, Corroboree has nothing to do with him...... Call the Police.

The Harbour Master may not want anything to do with it, particularly if he is a lazy, incompetent public servant.

However he also has the title of Director Marine Safety NT and has jurisdiction over all vessels and all waterways in the NT.

All investigations of incidents and accidents in the Marine environment are his responsibility. Police hand pass any complaints directly to him.

The Harbour Master is well known in fishing circles and a helpful and knowledgeable bloke, if it is part of his jurisdiction I am sure he'll deal with it as required.

The Harbour Master needs to deal with all the unlit mooring buoys and vessels in his harbour first...........
