On a different note, I took my kids squidding down Dover jetty last week, was two women there separately with their young sons, fishing at night.
Dunno if they were single mums or what, maybe I should not be sexist in assuming women don't go night fishing much, but it was good to see them getting their lads into it.
And we got a squid too

Apparently old ray got amongst it recently during a trip to QLD.
Good to see a happy ending!
