Some time ago at the fff drinks at dolleys there was talk of an fff bash down the daly during the dry. A few fishos that had been down and a few that hadn’t. Well the time has come to organize it. Ive had a few pm’s showing interest so lets do this.
I would suggest we go on the neaps, rather than springs, but it dosnt really matter. There are fish to be caught on either tides in different areas. Neaps the river is more picturesque but you will do more miles following the clear water, generally catch more fish but not as big. Bigger tides the river will be dirty, you don’t have to travel as far, the fishing is slower, but more chance of snaring a meter barra. Either way it will be a good weekend, any fish will be a bonus.

So anyway The plan so far is to camp at banyan farm. We’ll make it over a weekend to suit the majority. Dingo has said hes coming along. As well as NathanL. Im hoping mud will be keen and bring along his guitar and some jokes. natho has been known to bust out the guitar after a few beers and sing atrociously.

So here are some dates:
5/6th tides look good but short notice
12/13/14 – long weekend, bigger tides. Not as many fish, better quality.
The week after ill be away, so those are the tides for june
July options:
3/4th
10/11
24/25
Post up here if your keen. Ill be going either way, and theres already a few boats that will be joining.

Might have to make an appearance, you might need a drunken idiot for entertainment. Pecheur now might be a good time to ask the boss if your tribe can come along for a ride? Cant do 3/4 july, other than that no dramas.

But I do not have a boat and would have to rely on someone ready to take me as deckie.

And I can't do the next two weekend, as the boss has already planned some family activities...
Also, I tried to talk her into coming with us one of those day, and she does not seems very keen about it...

I cant do the 3/4 July, but any of the others sound good. looking forward to getting down that way with a few fellow fishos for a few ales and tales.
Hopefully someone can guide me through the browns and Woolianas bars

I am keen as as I have never been there, but am boatlees- if anyone else has the same prob perhaps we could hire a boat and split costs?

Weekend of the 10th 11th and 12th July would be good for me. Haven't fished the Daly since 04 so keen, also want to spend a weekend with FFFers.

I'm keen but will have to wait and see what I have on my plate.

Well i'll be down there next weekend (12,13,14th).

I am heading down with the missus 12th 13th & 14th to catch up with some friends that are at Woolianna with the rest of the grey nomads. Would be keen to catch up with anyone else down there that weekend.

lets pick the date then.. im a little confused of the 10-11-12-13 (june/july) ... but it seems most people are keen for july??? so if thats the case lets lock it in?
