Hey guys,

Looking at going for a drive tomorrow to check out the culverts along marrakah road .. coming north side off the arnhem highway .. heard its worth the look.. more so im after the drive ..

Assuming it will be effected by the tide due to the adelaide so thinking add 4hours?

Also if anybody wants to share a little secret of the place, what part of the tide have you had success?

Either way will probably go for a look none the less tomorrow.

Dont know how far you'll get havent been out there for a while. The first crossing is the Marrakai Ck which has had road works done to it. The second crossing which is sort of a backwater on the Margaret may stop you, but the river is 50 or so mtrs in on the left, then the Margaret is the next one, all of em are worth a flick. The Margaret is prefered by most fisho's. We usaully work on the tide 5-6 hrs but it depends on how much fresh is comming down.
Hope this helps a bit :drinking1: :drinking1:

well, we checked it out. road acess reports are wrong, road is impassable at Kaison's creek from the Arnemh Highway end... not the Margaret.
