On the cork you get the same result with 0000 steel wool without the mess.

Do you coat the cork grips with anything? I’ve heard of people laquering them.

nice job ,i do my cork grips every year and use a white candle to recoat the grips ,just rub wax over the cork into all nooks and crannies then use a heat gun well away from cork to heat wax .it melts into grip and is never slippery when using it even when wet
