Your ultimate Barra casting hardbody
G'day Boys,
Just thought I'd pick your brains.
If you could pick 3 of your best Barra casting hardbodies what would they be?
They can be lures that produce across a range of conditions or under a specific set of circumstances.
Is there any particular attributes you look for in a Barra casting lure?
Your top 3 colours?
For me, the 15A Gold Bomber is my ultimate confidence lure followed by Jackall Squirrel 79SP in Gold Sparkle or Pink Eye Suji. The Yo Zuri Crystal minnow would probably be my 3rd

That is easy. 1. 6 inch Gold Bomber 2. 6 inch Nils Master 'james bond' 3. My xxxx gold Robbie Gaden Classic
These are my go too...chuck heaps of other stuff from Blinkys and Reidys to Halco suspending and a bag of others but I guess it's look at the water mix...match the hatch and if in doubt Gold Bomber out.

Casting is a method designed to control and keep beer consumption to a minimum and to keep the deckie awake.

Re: Your ultimate Barra casting hardbody
After watching a mate pull in 5 barra to the rest of the boats nil, on an F18, telling us all to change our classic lures to F18 for that stretch of river, i'm thinking that these fish when given a choice get stirred up on certain wobble & rattle pitch over others.
