My first metery

Post by pelletouse »

Good morning all
At first I wanted to say a big thanks to Flickin4em who brought on a very good spot for an epic fishing session.
We want on the Adelaide river that was my first time fishing there. We started first to catch some salmon, we manage to get 2 on the boat but lost so many. and keep fishing for barra and then I caught a monster 1.03m my third barra in over 3 years in Darwin and this was my first legal fish. (can you believe it? true story)
Lucky i changed my hooks on all my lures in the morning before fishing because the one I used got smashed (pics below), the fish was so powerful. We finally managed to put it in the net but ripped of the net. The fish was so heavy that I was struggling to hold him properly for a nice pic, finally managed a few pics before the release, I was over the moon.
Once again thanks to Flickin4em who took me out for a legendary fishing time.

thanks guys for the support but unfortunately you will all have to wait for getting advice from me yet. I'm still a baby in boat fishing. Still a long way before getting as good as most of you guys.
