not the pic ron ,this fish had no tail at all just a stump

what a weird little dude that ones is but still mobile,nature has a brilliant way of adapting

Thanks for that. I'll look that term up.


Can I ask you if this could be as a result of a small gene pool? Came across a number of these when stocking. Fish were from a grow-out facility but the fingerlings came from the main hatchery in the area.


Not enough breeders to spread the genes or something similar?
