Australia Day 107 cm Daly River

Hi,
After having a sh..ty Long Weekend, with 2 Boats playing up, and only catching 1 legal fish, coming in at 72 cm, after 3 Days, I finally managed a new PB 107 cm. New PB for the whole family, so I have the absolute Bragging Rights.
We fished upstream, so that we new we cauld always drift back to the Camp, if that happened to occure. (it did, but we only had to drift about 30 metres, and we only had to walk 500 metres).
Caught the fish about 10.00 am, opposite the Community, at the Creek mouth.
Dropped a Barra, that was about an 80 cm, shortly before, then this one took the bait.
Took the Bait, and headed straight towards me, straight under the Boat, into Reeds against the Bank behind us, only to come out, and then head straight into The Reeds in front of us.
Never Jumped out of the water, only coming to the surface a few times, letting us know that it was a reasonable sized fish.
Concidering the location, I was lucky the fish didn't break me off, it certainly had its chances. Beat my previous PB 104 cm, caught last Year, on New Years Day. Looks like I will be fishing the January Public Holidays, for the rest of my life.
Last Weekend we came across this fish flapping around on the surface. It had a Powertail stuck down its throat. It was 67 cm, to the Anal Fin, and weighed a lot, for the piece it was.
