Wow nice catch!
I don't want your secret spot. But where can you catch these!? I've only ever gotten ones half the size you are getting :banghead:

haha mate I've only ever tried catching them in pots while out camping. and we've only ever got 1-2 in a pot. Use a couple for live bait to try entice a barra and let the rest go. The ones we catch aren't worth the effort of trying to eat!

Thx. b-radical. You'll notice that most are head shots too.. :D

Thats the seafood sauce mentioned above. Lay em on a bed of cos lettuce a side serve of rounds of spud fried in same oil mix for chips and a few micro herbs over the top, couple of cherry tomatoes cut on half and a slice of red onion, salt n pepper then go hard. 5 star stuff. All on the side of the river too with a bit of prior preparation and a few clip lock containers ....

I did notice the tails are in good nick :applause:

side of the river thats livin BARRY....... BCFing fun

Keep at it ol mate they're definitely worth it and they're top tucker... But I've never caught a barra on a live redclaw or even a dead one myself. But have seen a few in guts when I've been cleaning them tho. .

Take a few of the smaller ones for live baits into the back billabongs at Hardies and you'll crack ya virginity :D :D

Cheers grumpy
