I hate the south

Haven't fished the South Alligator in about 15 yrs since I left Jabiru.
Almost every time we went something went wrong boats stuck, damaged, trailer or car trouble.
Was asked to go last week with another crew and decided to give it a go.
Told the guys I was going with that I hate that river and it hates me.
I got the hat trick this time.
Cocky smashed my light force spot light on my cruiser to bits on the way down. :(
When I got there one of my wheel bearings on the trailer was red hot and grease every where. :x :x
Setting up the boat I could smell petrol when I opened the hatch on the cast deck.
Took out the bung plug and 20 liters of fuel poured out of the bilge. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Tried to find out where it came from but I have a sealed deck and 3 tanks with 250 liters in it.
Could not find the leak and had to go back to Darwin, boat full again of fuel when I got back.
My 2 deckys jumped in the other boat and went fishing without me leaving me to drive home alone.
Took all Saturday to find and fix a split breather hose.
O well I still have almost 200 liters to fish this week end.
think I will stick to the blue water. :D :D

Haha mate I've had similar experiences there:
1 stuck on a mudbar in full view of the bridge and ramp
2 balooning tire
3 3x busted props in Nourlangie
4 boat washed away from me solo at the ramp
