Been lucky enough for my boat to have landed eight dollar fish 101,103,103,104,105,108.117 and 121 in the last six trips and a lot of fish in the mid-high nineties.
Just working the mouths of the costal river from the Daly, Wildman to the gulf river systems.
Main things I look for is clean water and nervous bait
I sounded these areas in 3-6 metres. Once I mark some nice fish. I work them pretty hard, trying to run my lures slightly higher than fish I marked.
Barra look up not down and my lure my choice are red gill plate and a white or silver underside, green, olive or gold top. (bottom of lures for Barra and top for fisherman)

Some cracking fish as usual Rawlsy, some luck involved mate, but more like doing the miles,time on the water and hard work paying off for dollar bills $$$$
